What you need to know
- Front lights, rear lights and indicators: e/E-approved, original colour kept, correct placement, all mandatory lights present.
- Xenon: same, plus automatic level control and headlight washers.
- Indicator frequency 60 to 120 per minute.
- Rear fog lights: lower edge at least 25 cm and upper edge at most 120 cm above the road.
- Number plate light: white and static.
- Covering the signalling, removing the third brake light and adding a fourth brake light are on the Flemish list of things that are not allowed.
- Underglow and extra lights are not covered by this source.
